Nasya Therapy

Understanding Nasya Therapy

Nasya is a classical Panchakarma therapy in which medicated oils or herbal preparations are administered through the nasal route. In Ayurveda, the nose is considered the gateway to the head (“Nasa hi Shiraso Dwaram”), making Nasya especially effective for disorders affecting the head, neck, and
sensory organs.

Why Nasya May Be for You

Chronic sinusitis and nasal congestion

Allergic rhintis and recurrent colds

Headaches and migraine

Cervical stiffness and neck pain

Hair fall and scalp disorders

Memory and sleep disturbances

Nasya Procedure

Administered after gentle preparation of the head and neck region, often using mild massage and warmth. Prescribed medicated oil or herbal preparation is then instilled into each nostril in a controlled manner. The procedure is performed under supervision to ensure proper absorption and comfort.

Post-Therapy Care

Rest, avoidance of cold exposure, and light diet are recommended. Patients are guided to follow simple post-care measures to maintain clarity of the senses and prevent recurrence of symptoms.

Clarity Shouldn’t Wait
